We have painted this with Little Greene Ambleside in two tone and have varnished the paint work for extra durability. 
This item has all of its original features including handles hinges and metal work. 
As you would expect this item has had a long life and was rescued, so there are some imperfections but none which detract from its beauty. 
It comes with the original easiwork advice panels with handy information about seasonal recipes, first aid and space for your butchers, confectioners and grocer’s phone numbers!
