An exceptional design from McIntosh of Kirkcaldy. This is a substantial sideboard, carefully restored with beautiful form and functionality.  McIntosh was founded in 1869 and made high-quality contemporary dining furniture in the 1960s and 1970s. This piece was produced in the 1960s and was part of a particularly well made limited range called ‘Eden’ This teak veneer piece is really solid with streamlined handles and beautifully tapered legs. This piece has a large cupboard, three drawers to the left and the top drawer has the original cutlery divider in pristine condition.  This in great condition with limited evidence of wear and tear in keeping with age. We’ve stripped and lightly sanded it to bring out the fantastic grain of the wood. It’s been oiled and waxed with ultra matt wax.A truly beautiful piece made in the UK but with a strong. Scandinavian influence.This piece is an investment.
